“My early years were spent in Kent among the orchards and hop gardens. This gave rise to my love of nature; spending time watching hares playing and boxing in the spring sunshine with my grandfather.
As I grew, my father’s journalistic career gave rise to a nomadic lifestyle which re-enriched my cultural experience as well as exposing me to a variety of landscape and wildlife.
In 1987 I moved to Cornwall with my husband, and were inspired by the beautiful countryside and wildlife around me and to start painting again – which progressed from decorating furniture to more formal artwork. For the past two years, I have taken up art seriously using my early memories for my wildlife paintings.”
